Sydney Lashbrook
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Sydney aspires to integrate user empowerment into her daily work, collaborating with clients to create spaces for people to deeply connect with others.
Sydney started as an Interior Design intern at BFBSA in 2023 shortly after graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Florida State University. During her internship she completed her Master of Science degree also at FSU and started full-time work shortly after. Sydney specializes in creating renderings, selecting finishes, and drafting construction documents. Her favorite project types include restaurants, cafes, and other hospitality spaces.
During her time in graduate school, Sydney focused on designing for social justice. She addressed culinary workplace needs by providing environmental support for employees as well as created front-of-house spaces that seek to integrate users with their local community. By offering refuge, education, and accessible sustenance it was the intent of the design that the quality of life for all users would improve. Sydney aspires to integrate user empowerment into her daily work as well as collaborate with clients to create spaces for people to more deeply connect with others and their environment.
Outside of the office, you will likely find Sydney at local coffee shops, antique stores, or parks. She also enjoys creating lots of art and music in her spare time.
